Socio-economic Characteristics of German International Corporation (GIZ) Technology Intervention on Shea Nut Processors in Niger State, Nigeria

This study assessed the activities of GIZ (German International Corporation) intervention technology on shea nut processors in Niger State, Nigeria. A two-stage sampling technique was adopted for study. The first stage involved a purposive selection 15 Local Government Areas GIZ’s intervention. second proportionate random 297 beneficiaries constituting 10% profile list. Also, same LGAs, snow-balling used to randomly select Shea that were non-beneficiaries, thereby making total sample size 594. Data collected through interview schedule and analysed using percentages mean multiple regression analysis. revealed majority (75.1 %) respondents had non-formal education, 76.6 % between 41-60 years with age 48.1 years.
